It was a hot day but it was amazing! Erin and Eli have traveled the world and they put that love of travel in every detail of their perfect wedding day, surrounded by the best friends and family two people could ask for. I was honored to be apart it.
The best part was they didn't do the feed each other cake thing or toss a bouquet... what?!? WHY???? Because A. you don't have to, and B. the party was too good to stop and toss a silly bouquet... have I mentioned how much I love these two?

Albert and Andrea- Engagement Session in Oakland

Maria and I may have a new favorite place to do photo shoots; it's a place called Oakland. 
Being based in "the city", we tend to act like it is the only one, but thankfully Albert and Andrea are avid Oakland lovers and livers, and they showed us all sorts of great architecture, food, and views over there in that far away land across the bay. And we were instantly sold! (I do suspect that our perception was tainted by having such a good time hanging out with these two and their infectious laughter though)!

These guys have been dating for 15 years, and as such, tried to convince us they were over the cutesy-wootesy-lovey-dovey phase, but we think they've still got a good amount left in 'em! 

We're so excited for their wedding in two weeks when we'll get to photograph those fabulous big smiles all day!

Andrea and Craig- married at Paradise Ridge- the BEST wedding.

We recognize that we are not really supposed to have favorites, but IF someone threatened to tie us to a tree and starve our babies unless we named a favorite client, we might maybe then say that these guys are in the top five :) Seriously, we love these two so much. We have loved them ever since they "signed up" a year and a half ago! And we love them now a few months after their wedding. We love their taste in beautiful wedding dresses and pretty accessories; we love the way they say "sorry" (they're Canadian); we love their family and friends (we're hoping to be adopted into the family), and we love the way they love each other. 

Andrea and Craig got married at Paradise Ridge, and there were so many wonderful things about the day; There was the first glance, when we got to see Andrea's nerves just melt away once she got to Craig's arms; there was the hilarious video their group of really tight-knit friends made for them (These guys have been dating since high school). There was the 100plus guests who came all the way from Canada to celebrate with them. There was the moment when they gave us a little shout-out in the middle of their speech (so sweet!) Honestly, we could go on and on about this wedding. It really was the Best wedding . . . no, literally- that's their last name now!

Chris and Matt's Backyard Wedding

A Doctor + A Scientist = A really smart Love.These two met on the water ski team their first year in college, and have been by each others side through their many many (many) years of school since! They live in Minnesota but came out to California to get married at Chris's parent's house (where her dad built an entire deck so guests could sit on top of the pool!)
