Amanda and Jesse's wedding in Yosemite

Amanda and Jesse started their wedding planning with every intention of getting married in Sonoma, but somewhere along the way, they ended up in Yosemite! Which was perfect. These guys love the outdoors, hiking, exploring, camping, etc. so this was waaaayyy more them! After meeting these two Maria and I were so taken with their hilarious dry senses of humor, their honesty, and their adoration of each others quirks that we were super bummed when we thought it wouldn't work out, but then we brought on Natalie!! Natalie is Verité's first ever associate photographer and she was the lucky one who got to photograph A and J in the stunning valley of Yosemite.

So, after nine years of dating, these two got to use this grand and beautiful place as the backdrop for their grand and beautiful love! . . . and nobody was crapped on by a pigeon! (That's what happened to Jesse on their first date :))

Melanie and Kevin, Engaged in San Francisco

These two love wine, and they love San Francisco, but I don't think they paid much attention to either of those things during our photo shoot since they seem to love each other way more than anything else! Which is the best type of photo session in our opinion! Seriously, their happiness to be together makes our job pretty easy!

Albert and Andrea at Madrona Manor in Healdsburg

This was our last wedding of the season back at the end of September, and what a fabulous wedding to end the season with! After photographing their engagement session, we could hardly wait to do their wedding because 1) they clearly had good taste in food, and 2) Those smiles! They make our cameras happy. And we were not disappointed. Madrona Manor makes their own butter! 'nuff said. And there was such a great vibe at their wedding- it was a wonderful mix of little kids and little grandmas! And everyone smiled so much (although Albert still wins for the best smile there!)

And then there was the exquisite gardens, their gorgeous invitations (hand-printed on vintage handkerchiefs bought one at a time on ebay!), and the overall super lovely laid-back feel of the day. It was wonderful!

Here's to registering 15 years of love with the state!

Ariel and Jonathan at Point Reyes Seashore Lodge

I loved so many things about this wedding! The venue, the weather, the design, the music, and especially the bride and groom! Ariel and Jonathan didn't follow the rules at all- dancing during the daylight, no garter/bouquet toss, pies instead of cake. They really just had such a fun and laid-back party. And I love Jonathan's obsession with bow ties; he personally made sure each and every one of them there was tied perfectly! (You may recall from their Engagement Session that Jonathan and his grandfather are bow tie professionals!). Anyway, these two are pretty darn adorable and their wedding was pretty darn great.

Rich and Annie- In Love

These guys have been married for 10 years and look at the way they still look at each other! They spent some quiet little moments together on this sunny afternoon in their little town of Sunol. They've got a wee one coming soon, so their sunny afternoons may be a little less quiet from here on out :) Good thing they got this one in the books!

Maria and I are so in love with this session- Beautiful light + True love make us some happy photographers!
