Ellen and Joe, Vow Renewal at the Monterey Bay Aquarium

If I were to host my own personal best couple contest, Ellen and Joe would definitely be among the final contenders. I adore them. They are animal-loving, adventure-loving, life-loving, each other-loving people, and I was so thrilled to be part of their 20 year anniversary vow renewal.

We hung out at Lovers Point for a bit before the festivities began, ran back to the house to take a half-shower (because sand and evening gowns don't feel that comfortable together) and then headed to the Monterey Bay Aquarium where they affirmed their devotion to one another with some of their closest family and friends, and fish.

Jaclyn and Josh, married at Paradise Ridge

Even though Verité is on it's way out the door, there are still so many events I have yet to share before it closes all the way! I know I won't get to all of them here, but I had to do this one for sure! Jaclyn and Josh got married at Paradise Ridge on a super hot September day ( I think Jaclyn might have wished just a little too hard for sun ;)) These two love good design (thus, their invitations, and flowers, and dress, and cake!) and they love a good adventure together (thus, the marriage!)

Jaclyn and Josh, Engaged in San Francisco

Jaclyn was hoping for sunshine and golden light filtering through the trees . . . but doing an engagement shoot in San Francisco in the summer, chances are . . . slim. Sigh. Alas, it's not what was envisioned, but the equally-as-beautiful dense grey fog forces you to cuddle especially close to your beloved and makes for images glowing with the warmth from within.

Kristin and Wes, married at Paradise Ridge

This wedding is the very last wedding Maria and I will have shot together! It's time for the next stage in the life of Verité and after more than 8 years we will be saying goodbye. We'll share more on that later but it seemed like kinda a momentous event so I had to point it out here. And we couldn't have spent our last wedding together with two nicer people than Kristin and Wes! Or with a cuter grandma, or nieces. Or with prettier light.

Alexis and Grant's Wedding Celebration

The week before this party, these two got married in Hawaii, with just their parents and siblings. Small, intimate, meaningful, and perfect for the two of them. Then they returned home to a house filled with family and friends to celebrate with. Here's some of the fun moments captured that evening.
