where in the world is Carmen San Diego... or Robyn and Maria?

So, this is embarrassing. The last time we posted anything was in September of last year! We have a bunch of stuff- weddings, engagement sessions, published goods- we've been meaning to share, but the truth of the matter is that we've been super busy caring for new babies and sick parents (our lives are filled with all sorts of glamorous butt-wiping :)). But we're gonna get back on it here soon, with lots more pretty weddings! AshDan Engage Veritephotography final034

Also, here and here are some recently published weddings we're quite proud of!

Thanks for hanging in there with us... we promise to fill the blog with even more pretty pictures VERY soon!

Kristen and Andy- Wedding at Cornerstone

We said it at the time we did their engagement session, and these guys remain two of the nicest people ever! There was even this funny moment during the ceremony when the officiant shared about a time, shortly after K and A had started talking on the phone, when Andy wasn't sure if Kristen was being sarcastic and mocking him at times, because he hadn't yet figured out that she really was just that nice and sincere!

These guys got married at Cornerstone on a crazy hot day. We dripped a lot of sweat on our cameras, and Kristen and Andy dripped a fair amount on each other, but you'd never know it was a little bit miserable out seeing how gorgeous and radiant and happy they looked this day!

Berkeley and Steve- Married at their home in Kentfield

This wedding was an absolutely beautiful joining of two families. Berkeley and Steve both brought some kiddos to the equation and honestly, I don't think we've ever seen two people more dedicated to their kids and making their new life together work. Really, they are such an example of love, effort and calm, both toward one another, their kids, their families & friends, and onward.

And not that you even need much more after having the love and the loyalty in place, but these guys went ahead and added beautiful flowers, mini golf, creme bruleé, and honey favors to the mix just to make the event extra lovely!

Lizzy & Todd and a very cold day in San Francsico

The great thing about really cold weather at an engagement shoot is all the snuggling it engenders. Lizzy was not at all excited about having her picture taken (which made about ZERO sense to us since she's obviously A-Dorable) but luckily Todd just pulled her in tight so she could focus on snuggling and not picture-taking. And that they did! After the chilly Sutro Baths, we headed over to the historic Balboa Theater. Lizzy and Todd love to go to the movies. It's very much "their thing" so we figured the little theater would be an appropriate place to warm-up and make-out (and chow on some buttery popcorn!)

These two are such big fans of each others! And we love it when that happens. :)
